Hello,

Since your software is very very good I recommend it to NGOs too. I think that it should be somehow possible in Company type to put donor or investor as a choice, because this will fit better needs of users. Maybe a sort of drop-down menu should appear offering many choices.

Thanks,

Please take a look the system-admin-module.
There you should find a link called "system lookup values".
The first line shows you the current company types.
Click on the Edit-Button (pencil with paper) in the beginning of the line and there you go.
You can add and delete how you like.
But be aware: the syntax is very important. If you encounter any problems, take a look at your syntax.

Futhermore you will encounter problems if you have companies with the type 5 and your new "model" has only 4 company-types. This could mean, that these companies will not be viewed anymore. Test it.

Hello,

I would liek to modify one more field also. Actually, in company module there is company owner field with drop down menu. It actually lists contacts that I entered. But, in some cases companies or organizations are owned by the state, public, or many owners. How to add option to choose public, state or so in that menu?

Thanks,

No, it actually lists USERS (that is system users) that you entered But, in some cases companies or organizations are owned by the state, public, or many owners. How to add option to choose public, state or so in that menu?I suggest you look into the CUSTOM FIELD EDITOR available in the System Admin screen. There you can add your own fields to several modules.

Have fun with it!

Hello,

Thanks on answer. Is that at leat least possible to put owner: not applicable or so. I want to avoid incosistence in data in terms that in one filed is owner let say me or any user althoughit he/she is not owner of that comapny an to have cusytom field which note realt ownership status. Just to make things tidy. ;)

I hav efun with it.

Best wishes,

Vedran
