watch a forum (item)

Hi,
I've made a new forum subject as a project owner and would like to give my participants permission to post within the subject.
Even when i'm giving them permission to the specific item in my user role or user permission it doesn't show up at their page, quite odd.

Can you help me out?

Damn I don't understand. My user has some project tasks and i've added permission to the project item in project>item but still the user can't see the forum.
Besides of this, the user can't even select a project when trying to make a new forum. what's wrong?

Please tell us what we can not see... what permissions are granted to this user?

You gave him project access... but what about that companys view permission?

Cascading effect... rings a bell?
No? see the following:

Hiearchy:
Top: Company
Middle: Project
Bottom: Tasks, Forums, Files

If you can not see the Top and Middle you can not see any further down to the Bottom.

Hmm..I think following the on-line 10$ permission course could prevent a lot of annoyance in my case. But now it looks very nice and usable
