Locale

Hi,

I'm just going to install a new translation pack, but I can't use it, the new language doesn't appear in

index.php?m=system&a=addeditpref / Locale

All files seem to be here with right permissions :

# ls locales/fr/
admin.inc contacts.inc help.inc lang.php resources.inc tasks.inc
calendar.inc departments.inc history.inc locales.php smartsearch.inc ticketsmith.inc
common.inc files.inc index.html projects.inc styles.inc
companies.inc forums.inc install.inc public.inc system.inc

I've logged-off myself before trying to choose thenew language.

Any ideas ?

I'm using dotProject 2.0.1 under FreeBSD 4.x and PHP 5 (I know, not supproted, but language should work no ?).

why can't we download language packs on the website ?
it asks for login/passwd

Language packs are in dotmods cvs:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/dotmods/

Some (or many) are old and may not be of dP 2.0.1 age.

Actually up to date language packs are now on www.dotproject.net

When you say download requires a login / password - that's a requirement for accessing a lot of the features on www.dotproject.net.
