Hi all,
how can I change the forum module in for the following functionalities:
- As soon as somebody adds a new forum, all persons who are able access are being set to watch this forum.
- So the forum's watch flag is initially flagged, but each member has still the opportunity to untag it afterwards
- Even if you add new members they will watch all forums they've access to.
I know there is a flag in the sysadmin to forcing everybody to watch all forums, but this seems to be quite useless as people get a notification of a forum they have no access to. Also the watch flag is then totally out of function
In general I think this could be a helpful feature for organizations using the forum as a board to send weakly news about the project process or to make people at least "listening" to several news in the project discussion.
