Check that the new users created have some level of permissions to do things.
Log in as "admin".
Click on User Admin on the Menu.
Click on the "In-Active" tab.
Any users you see list here can't log in as they have no permission to do anything.
Click on the 'lock' icon.
In the "Add or Edit Permissions" box select 'all' for the module and 'read-write' for the level. Click on the 'add' button. The new permission should appear in the list (you've just created another super-user). Confirm that you can now log in as that user. If you can then log back in as admin and play with the permissions and levels for this new user.
